Abstract
Background: Although the efficacy of soft tissue mobili-zation approaches as a therapy for shoulder impingement syn-drome (SIS) is not well-established, prior research has demon-strated positive results when employing this approach. Aim of Study: Is to review the outcome of thoracic manipu-lation and myofascial release (MR) SIS in advancing range of motion, shoulder function, pain, proprioception and pain pres-sure threshold in peoples with SIS. Conclusion: Due to the affirmative physiological outcome of myofascial release by IASTM on heath related result meas-ures in shoulder impeded peoples it is considered an appealing method to Motivate and engage shoulder impeded syndrome peoples in appropriate physical therapy program. There were limited studies that examine the outcomes of TM or MR pro-grams on peoples with SIS. Additionally, no research has been done on the outcomes of combining the TM versus MR regi-men with scapular stabilization exercises.
