Clinical Correlation between Amount of Subarachnoid Hemorrhage and Clinical Vasospasm, AHMED M. ALI

 

Abstract
Objective: Clinical study to declare relationship between amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage and clinical vasospasm.
Patients and Methods: 3 0 patients included in this study, 18 females and 12 males, at Emergency Department of Kasr El-Aini between May 2012 to July 2013.
Results: 4 cases had Gr.II bleeding, (3 cases developed vasospasm and 1 case was free). 12 cases had Gr.III bleeding (10 cases had vasospasm and 2 cases were free). 14 cases had Gr.IV bleeding (11 cases had vasospasm and 3 cases were free).
Conclusion: Amount of bleeding into subarachnoid space has an intimate relation with the patients clinical vasospasm.
