Result: The study results revealed that there was statistical significant difference was found between the two groups in all signs and symptoms of preeclampsia which include (weight gain, increasing BMI, edema, proteinuria, and blood pressure) that monitored during the study, therefore there is statistical significant difference was found between the two groups on the incidence of preeclampsia (X2=7.10, p=0.03), also there was statistical significant difference was found between the two groups the level of ionized ca in the 8th month of pregnancy the mean of calcium in study group was 4.24±0.51, while the mean of calcium in control group was 3.56±0.32 with statistical significant difference was found between the two groups (t=8.0, p=0.0001).
Conclusion: Nutritional instruction about calcium dietary supplementation lowered the incidence of preeclampsia among high risk pregnant mothers.
