Aim of Study: The objective of this research is to review published studies that evaluate IT-based systems in healthcare settings, with the purpose of understanding the methodologies used and the conclusions drawn from these evaluations. Methods: The literature review includes an examination of research on IT-based systems in healthcare. The focus is on identifying the approaches taken to assess the impacts of these systems. Results: The review reveals that the majority of assessment studies concentrate on economic and organizational factors. However, the outcomes typically highlight positive results such as increased customer satisfaction, financial benefits, and im-proved operational efficiency.
