The Relationship between Nursing Teachers' Performance and Students' Satisfaction at Nursing Schools in Port Said, SANAA A. EBRAHIM, NAGAT S. SHALABY and HANAN A.E. RASHWAN
Abstract
Background: Nowadays, educational institutions are striving to attract a large number of students to their own programs and adopt different strategies to maintain their own students.
Aim of the Study: To study the relationship between nursing teachers' performance and students' satisfaction at nursing schools in Port Said.
Methods: A descriptive correlational study was used with a sample of (14) nursing teachers working in Port Said, El-Nasr and Port Fouad Schools and (411) nursing students studying in the schools. The data were collected by two tools: Teacher performance observational checklist and students' satisfaction measuring tool.
Results: This study revealed that the majority of teachers have high level of performance and the majority of students have high level of satisfaction.
Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relation between the teachers' performance and students' satisfaction.
