Abstract
Objective: To report a case of frontal nasal sinus squamous cell papillomatosis.
Case Report: On January 15th, 2016, a 56-year old male presented with right nasal obstruction for one year. The patient's complaint was associated with nasal discharge, headache, hyposmia, and allergic symptoms. On examination, he had right polypoidal nasal mass with nasal dis-charge. Radiologic studies revealed right nasal cavity mass, a heter-ogenic lesion in the frontal sinus with extension to the right orbit and to the brain, and a deformity with bony erosions in the roof of the left orbit and base of skull. Endoscopic sinus surgery was performed, for nasal mass removal. Histopathology revealed squamous cell papillomatosis with koilocytotic cells caused by human papilloma virus type 10.
Conclusions: Frontal sinus squamous cell papillomatosis is an uncommon disease. Its treat-ment has been largely benefited from the advances in endoscopic techniques.
